Create Sale Order<\/p>\n<p>2. Book Sales Order<\/p>\n<p>3. Check Status<\/p>\n<p>4. Progress Sales Order<\/p>\n<p>5. Check Status<\/p>\n<p>6. Release Purchase Order<\/p>\n<p>7. Import Requisition \/ Purchase Order<\/p>\n<p>8. Link between sales order and purchase order<\/p>\n<p>9. Receive the material against purchase order<\/p>\n<p>10. Check Order status.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Video:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><video src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/Videos\/DropShip.mp4\" preload=\"\" controls=\"controls\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"><\/video><\/p>\n<p><strong>Screenshots:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Create Sale Order<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: Order Management Super User &gt;&gt; Order Organizer<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc1.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on &#8216;New Order&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc2.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enter Order Header Information<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc3.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on &#8216;Line Items&#8217; tab<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc4.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click the &#8216;Shipping&#8217; tab and enter Item Number , Quantity and Receiving Organization<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc5.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click &#8216;Book Order&#8217; button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc6.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If order is booked successfully then a confirmation message will be displayed as shown in the below picture.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc7.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on &#8216;Actions&#8217; Button under &#8216;Line Items&#8217; tab<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc8.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select &#8216;Additional Line Information&#8217; from the List of values and click OK<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc9.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select &#8216;Drop Ship&#8217; tab.<\/p>\n<p>At this stage we do not have any purchase orders created related to this drop ship order.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc10.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close the &#8216;Additional Line Information&#8217; form.<\/p>\n<p>Make a note that the line status is &#8216;Booked&#8217; at this stage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc11.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see the workflow status.<\/p>\n<p>Click on Tools &gt;&gt; workflow status<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc12.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Current activity will be &#8216; Purchase Release Eligible&#8217; with a status of &#8216;Notified&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc13.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close the workflow status page.<\/p>\n<p>Go back to &#8216;Line Items&#8217; and select the line. Right click on it and select &#8216;Progress Order&#8217; option as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc14.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select &#8216;Purchase Release \u2013 Eligible&#8217; option from List of Eligible Activities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc15.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click OK.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Line Status&#8217; changes from &#8216;Booked&#8217; to &#8216;Awaiting Receipt&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc16.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc17.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on Actions button<\/p>\n<p>Select &#8216;Additional Line Information&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc18.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Make a note that we still do not have &#8216;Purchase Order&#8217; created for this drop ship order.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc19.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close the order form.<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: Order Management Super User &gt;&gt; Purchase Release<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc20.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A Concurrent request submit screen will pop up.<\/p>\n<p>Click on Parameters and enter the sales order number that we created above. By doing this concurrent request will just process this particular order instead of releasing all pending drop ship order requests.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc21.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click Submit<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc22.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close all open forms.<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: Purchasing Super User &gt;&gt; Reports &gt;&gt; Run<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc23.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select &#8216;Requisition Import&#8217; program and click on parameters text box.<\/p>\n<p>Enter parameters as follows<\/p>\n<p>Import Source: ORDER ENTRY<\/p>\n<p>Import Batch ID: Leave it blank<\/p>\n<p>Group By: Item+<\/p>\n<p>Last Requisition Number: Leave it blank<\/p>\n<p>Multiple Distributions: No<\/p>\n<p>Initiate Approval after ReqImport: Yes<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc24.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click OK.<\/p>\n<p>Wait until two concurrent requests &#8216;Requisition Import&#8217; and &#8216;Create Releases&#8217; are completed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc25.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now go back Order Management Super user responsibility<\/p>\n<p>Click on Order Organizer and enter the sales order number.<\/p>\n<p>Click find to open the sales order.<\/p>\n<p>Select Line Items &gt;&gt; Actions &gt;&gt; Additional Information.<\/p>\n<p>At this stage a purchase order is created related to this sales order.<\/p>\n<p>Purchase order is in &#8216;Approved&#8217; status because we initiated the approval process by setting the parameter &#8216;Initiate Approval Process after ReqImport&#8217; to yes in the above concurrent request.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc26.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you have EDI \/ e-commerce gateway setup to drop the purchase order information to supplier, it should trigger now.<\/p>\n<p>Now Supplier has the purchase order information.<\/p>\n<p>Supplier ships the parts to customer and will send us back the confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>Once the confirmation is received we need to create a receipt.<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: Inventory &gt;&gt; Transactions &gt;&gt; Receiving &gt;&gt; Receipts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc27.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the Receiving Organization that is selected on shipping tab of line items form.<\/p>\n<p>Click the purchase order number which is found on the additional line information form or the sales order that is created.<\/p>\n<p>Click find.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc28.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Receipt form should open with the item information as shown below.<\/p>\n<p>Check mark the Left checkbox and if the item is Lot or Serial controlled then click on &#8216; Lot \u2013 Serial&#8217; button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc29.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enter the lot number. In my case the item being used is lot controlled.<\/p>\n<p>Click done.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc30.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Save and close the form.<\/p>\n<p>Go back to Order Management and check the line status on the order form.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/041711_1204_DropShipCyc31.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now the line is shipped.
