Check the Responsibility option<\/p>\n<p>2. Enter a &#8220;Responsibility&#8221; name to which you would like to assign the operating unit<\/p>\n<p>3. Enter &#8220;MO: Operating Unit&#8221; in profile field<\/p>\n<p>Click Find<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera2.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the Operating unit which need to be assigned to a Responsibility and save.<\/p>\n<p>In this example we are trying to assign &#8220;Asia OU&#8221; operating unit to &#8220;Purchasing&#8221; responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera3.png\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12pt;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>What just happened is, we have attached operating unit to a responsibility in Apps 11i version.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Oracle Apps R12:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In Oracle Apps R12 version we can assign one or multiple Operating Units to a single responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Assigning one Operating Unit to a Responsibility is same as we did above in 11i.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see how to assign Multiple Operating Units to a single Responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>In R12 we have an option called &#8220;Security Profile&#8221; through which we can assign multiple OU&#8217;s to a responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Create one &#8220;security Profile&#8221; and assign as many &#8220;Operating units&#8221; as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: Human Resources, Vision Enterprises &gt; Security &gt; Profile<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera4.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Create security profile and add one or more Operating Units to it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera5.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Assign the &#8220;Security Profile&#8221; that we created to any Responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Navigation: System Administrator &gt; Profile &gt; System<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera6.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the responsibility and Profile as MO: Security Profile<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/102813_1100_AssignOpera7.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the security profile you have created and save.
