Oracle ERP provides a couple of ways to achieve this requirement.<\/p>\n<p>1) Internal requisition to internal sales order<br \/>\n2) Inter Organization Transfer ( I have covered this in another article)<\/p>\n<p>Normally Internal requisition will be created by the destination organization who wish to receive the material from source organization. Now a days companies being so global we may not have people assigned dedicatedly to work on individual warehouse so Internal requisitions can be created by a planner (employee \/ person) who is responsible for planning on-hand quantities at different warehouses.<\/p>\n<p>First, Start with creating internal requisition. Make sure requisition type is selected as &#8220;Internal requisition&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4705\" alt=\"Oracle_Apps_IR\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Apps_IR.png\" width=\"753\" height=\"528\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Source Organization is the warehouse where we have ample inventory stock and ready to give.<\/p>\n<p>Destination organization is the requesting warehouse where material is required.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4704\" alt=\"Oracle_Apps_IR2\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Apps_IR2.png\" width=\"757\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Submit requisition for approval.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4703\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_IR3\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_IR3.png\" width=\"757\" height=\"548\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Make sure requisition is approved.<\/p>\n<p>Go to View &gt; Requests &gt; Submit a New Request<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4702\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_IR4\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_IR4.png\" width=\"582\" height=\"449\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Submit &#8220;Create Internal Orders&#8221; concurrent program for the operating unit in which our requisition is created.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4701\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_IR5\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_IR5.png\" width=\"706\" height=\"502\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Switch responsibility to Order Management responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>View &gt; Requests &gt; Submit a New Request<\/p>\n<p>Run &#8220;Order Import&#8221; concurrent program with Order source as internal and order reference as requisition number.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4700\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_IR6\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_IR6.png\" width=\"704\" height=\"496\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Make sure &#8220;Order Import&#8221; concurrent program is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Navigate to Order Organizer and search input Order Source as &#8220;Internal&#8221; and Order Source reference is your requisition number.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4699\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_ISO\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_ISO.png\" width=\"751\" height=\"497\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click Find to get your sales order.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4698\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_ISO2\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_ISO2.png\" width=\"749\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Observer that the customer that is populated will be your internal customer<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4697\" alt=\"Oracle_Applications_ISO3\" src=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/erps\/wp-content\/uploads\/img\/Oracle_Applications_ISO3.png\" width=\"750\" height=\"499\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you would like confirm the Sales order link with requisition you can navigate to &#8220;Others&#8221; tab and at the bottom you can see the requisition number in Order source reference column.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"IR to ISO query\" href=\"http:\/\/erpschools.com\/scripts\/internal-requsition-internal-sales-order-link\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/erpschools.com\/scripts\/internal-requsition-internal-sales-order-link<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Companies might have to transfer material from one warehouse (inventory organization) to other warehouse depending on the current on-hand stock and demand at each location.
